This is Desrae the kelpie [link] [link] wading way out through the water of a swampy lake area.
This picture was made for #fantasy-xchange's art jam focusing on where the character's live. (Which is great with me because I usually don't like drawing backgrounds anywhere as much as the characters in it but this was fun
)

Wow, that's really nice! I love the colors you've used here. The lighting is very well-done too. It's cool how you've framed Desrae with the grass/reeds. I always love seeing framing elements like that.
